Handling

It has truly been a pleasure to handle these dogs, and I would like to thank the owners for their trust and faith in my abilities.

I have qualified many dogs for CRUFTS.

I have made up 2 IRISH JUNIOR CHAMPIONS and 1 UK CHAMPION

3 dogs have gained their ShCM title.

I have handled dogs to take multi CC’s, RCC’s, GREEN STARS, RES GREEN STARS, BOB’s, and many other awards.

Having a number of dogs to show I enlisted the help of handler Sarah Towers who I have seen over the years step up to the plate and handle even the most challenging of dogs. A confident, effective and positive handler who just seems to get that extra bit from the dog in the ring which makes all the difference. Whatever she handles just seems to sparkle in the ring with her enthusiasm and energy, she has a natural rapport with the dogs being assertive yet at the same time showing full consideration to the dog. I have often just handed her a dog at a minutes notice and she has taken it in her stride in a calm and matter of fact manner, gone into the ring and got the job done. Sarah is only one of a few people I would trust to handle my dogs and I am always over the moon with their performance. She has won many classes for me and 2 CC's and 5 RCC's.

Sarah has handled our dogs for the last 18 months, she has an inbuilt talent for exposing the best characteristics of any dog she shows. For some handlers, it's just a job but to Sarah its a lot more than that, it's a natural ability and she was born to become a top handler. The patience, firm persuasion and manner that she has, not only has gained our trust and respect, but also any dog we give her to show. We would not hesitate to recommend Sarah to anyone who wishes to use a professional handler for their dogs.

When I started out with Lucie I found the whole experience of being in the ring terrifying, and my nerves were going straight down the lead. So I decided a professional handler would be the best way to go and Sarah was recommended to me by a friend. I cannot praise her enough not just for showing Lucie wonderfully but for really connecting with her, making the experience fun and building her confidence as they went. The results speak for themselves with Lucie Crufts qualifying 4 times in as many months and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
